The Research Councils Follow on Fund supports the further scientific, technical or other development of ideas with commercial potential arising from the research supported by BBSRC, EPSRC, NERC, and STFC.
The fund supports activities aimed at securing commercial opportunities such as licensing, seed or venture finance.
Applications for the Research Councils Follow on Fund must fall within the remit of one of the participating Research Councils and draw substantially on the outputs of previous Research Council funding.
