Research Councils UK India
Welcome to the website of the Research Councils UK India. RCUK
is the strategic partnership of the UK's seven Research Councils. Each year the
Research Councils invest around £3 billion in research covering the full spectrum
of academic disciplines from the medical and biological sciences to astronomy, physics,
chemistry and engineering, social sciences, economics, and the arts and humanities.
The RCUK Office in India was
launched in October 2008 with an aim to bring about a step change in research
partnerships between the two countries and make it easier for the best researchers
in UK and India to develop high-quality, high impact research partnerships by:
- developing positive, sustainable and influential relationships with key
stakeholders.
- supporting the facilitation of high quality research collaborations between
India and the UK.
- building the profile of the RCUK office to influence policy and deliver
valuable, high impact outputs.
