The British Academy

The British Academy is the national academy of humanities and social sciences.

It fosters collaboration in research between the UK and India through a variety of grants schemes, including a visiting fellowship scheme aimed at scholars from South Asia, a partnership scheme designed to create institutional links between the UK and South Asia, and support for the British Association for South Asian Studies in its activities.
