The Wellcome Trust is the largest charity in the UK. It funds innovative biomedical research, in the UK and internationally, spending over £600 million each year to support the brightest scientists with the best ideas.
The Department of Biotechnology (India) and the Wellcome Trust (UK) have established a new partnership to fund biomedical research in India. The partnership will deliver a programme of fellowship schemes.
Fellowships are available for outstanding medically qualified or science graduates across the full spectrum of biomedical research, from fundamental molecular and cellular studies through to clinical and public health research.
