Welcome to the website of the Research Councils UK China.
Established in 2007, RCUK China enhances research funding partnerships between the UK and China. We aim to support the best researchers in the UK and China to develop high-quality, high-impact research partnerships.
To date, we have facilitated over £130 million in co-funded programmes supporting 78 UK-China research projects that have involved more than 60 universities and 50 industry partners in both countries.

The Medical Research Council (MRC), the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC), and the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) have announced that they will shortly be launching a call for research proposals focusing on antibacterial resistance.
