Researchers receiving support from the Research Councils UK Digital Economy Theme must ensure they are aware of the branding guidelines that must be used when publicising and acknowledging their activities.
Use of the Logo
It is important that Digital Economy Theme supported activities are correctly branded. The Research Councils UK Digital Economy logo must be used on any websites, publications or official documents. Individual Research Council logos must not be used.
Acknowledgement
When referring to research funded under the Digital Economy Theme it is unnecessary to mention or recognise any individual council. If it is vital to refer to a specific council please use the wording agreed across RCUK;
“The Digital Economy Theme is a Research Councils UK cross council initiative led by EPSRC and contributed to by AHRC, ESRC, and MRC”.
Use of Sub-Brands
Digital Economy research projects may have their own logo; creating a recognisable identity is encouraged by the Theme. However, the Digital Economy logo must still appear on all official publications (print or online) in conjunction with your own branding.
