Shaping capability

In July 2011 EPSRC released a map of its full research portfolio alongside further information on how it will implement the Shaping Capability strand of it delivery plan for 2011 onwards.

The RCUK Digital Economy Theme aims to shape the wider EPSRC portfolio by:

• Aligning digital economy related research skills and leaders across the EPSRC portfolio to four priority sub-themes
• Demonstrating the added value approach of digital economy research(user engagement, co-creation, multidisciplinarity, transformational change)
• Promote digital economy research across all EPSRC related themes (Energy, Global uncertainties, Healthcare technologies, Manufacturing, Living with Environmental Change)
