On 27th April 2010, a panel was convened to choose suitable projects to be funded under the ‘Research in the Wild’ call issued by the RCUK Digital Economy Programme. In round three of the call, six grants have been funded. The grants, which will run for eighteen months each, are about enabling researchers to expose and test their research ideas with potential beneficiaries, in order to get closer to achieving a viable proposition for transformational impact.
