New ESRC website launched

14 January 2011

Straight to the point, easy navigation, dynamic research content on the most important topics facing society today are just some of the new features of the Economic and Social Research Council’s (ESRC) recently launched new web portal. The new website will be the first port of call for anyone interested in the UK’s society and economy.

This unique online resource is dedicated to high quality and leading research on subjects from British business and foreign ownership, child happiness and the UK’s journey from recession to recovery. Through the new 'research topics' section visitors will have access to topical features, case studies, informed debate and expert opinion on a range of topics including climate change, ageing, employment and crime.

The innovative 'research catalogue' has an improved search feature which allows users to find information they want with a few taps on the keyboard. The new design of the ‘research catalogue’ clearly details all ESRC funded research findings and outputs including books, papers and journal articles. There are also details of the impacts that research has had on the economy, society and individuals. Visit the site today: www.esrc.ac.uk.
