This seminar, which was co-sponsored by LARCI and the National Collaboration on Ageing Research, promoted the vast array of Research Council supported work on the ageing population and their associated needs which is relevant to local authorities. Speakers presented their work within the context of local authority policy and delivery needs, and emphasised the practical implications of research use for local government.
