This small, invitation-only workshop was an exciting opportunity to be involved in shaping and guiding a new research programme from the major public funders of UK research, the Research Councils UK. The workshop was targeted at senior local government practitioners and third sector workers, selected for their expertise and experience of drawing out the best in their local communities.
